SALT LAKE CITY - Utah soccer junior defender Jill Robison was named to CollegeSoccer360's Primetime Performers Weekly Honor Roll.
The Layton native was a forward last season for the Utes and started 16 games. However, she has moved to a defensive role during the offseason and excelled in the role during fall camp.
Robison provided a steady presence in both games this past weekend, providing link-up play to the midfielders and forwards while adding an assist against WKU. She also aided the defense during consecutive shutouts, the first time a Ute team had accomplished the feat to open a season since 2005.
To be elected to the CollegeSoccer360 Primetime Performer Weekly Honor Roll, the student-athlete must have performed at a high level in a game that ultimately could be key to the team's postseason achievements/qualification, exhibited strong leadership and/or involved in clutch performances, such as momentum-shifting play, all-around performance/consistency, etc., and preference is given based on the quality of the opponent, contribution to team success and situational factors involved in the player's accomplishments.
