North Texas Invitational Match Notes
SALT LAKE CITY - The University of Utah was recognized as one of the American Volleyball Coaches Association's (AVCA) Team Academic Award recipients for the 2012-13 academic year.
The Utes earned posted a 3.4 grade-point average and garnered its third consecutive AVCA team honor.
The award, which was initiated in 1992-93, honors collegiate and high school volleyball teams that displayed excellence in the classroom during the school year by maintaining at least a 3.30 cumulative team GPA on a 4.0 scale.
