Greensboro, N.C. - The Utah men's golf team is currently sitting in seventh-place, carding even par (287-289=576), following the first two rounds of play on Sunday at the Bridgestone Golf Collegiate, which is being held at the Grandover Resort.

Utah will head into Monday's final round 33 strokes behind Purdue, who leads the tournament with a two-round score of 33-under par (543). Tournament host, North Carolina Greensboro, is in fourth-place after shooting a two-round score of 11-under (282).

North Carolina (-29) is in second-place, Northwestern (-13) follows in third-place, while VCU (-5) and Georgia State (-2) trail UNCG sitting in fifth and sixth-place, respectively, just ahead of the Utes.

Virginia Tech (+4), Kansas State (+5), Chattanooga (+17), Davidson College (+20), Iowa State (+21), Mercer (+23), and South Alabama (+25) rounded out the team standings on Sunday.

Senior Jose Pelayo and Freshman Trent Hill lead Utah after both players carded a combined score of even par (144). Pelayo shot even par (72) in both the first and second-rounds. Hill carded a first round 2-over par (74) and followed with a 2-under par (70) in the second-round. Pelayo and Hill sit in a tie for 26^th-place heading into the final round of the event.

Jonathon Thomas and Gentry Hicks are in a tie for 34^th-place after shooting 2-over par (146). Thomas carded a first-round 2-over par (74) and second-round even par (72). Hicks shot a 1-under par (71) in the first-round and finished with a 3-over par (75) second-round.

Rounding out team play for the Utes was Senior Brandon Kida (+3, 70-77=147), who is in a tie for 40^th-place.

Playing as an individual, Steven Croft carded rounds of even par (72) and 4-over par (76) and is tied for 43^rd-place while having a combined score of 4-over par (148).

Utah will conclude the Bridgestone Golf Collegiate with the final round on Monday. It will be a shotgun start beginning at 8:30 a.m. ET. Live scoring will be available via http://golfstatresults.com.
