NEW ORLEANS - The Utah track and field team has been selected as an All-Academic Team by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA), while six athletes earned individual All-Academic honors.
As a team, the Utes had a 3.42 cumulative grade point average. To be selected as an All-Academic Team, a team must have a 3.00 cumulative team grade point average.
Individually, freshman Sarah Feeny, sophomore Megan Glasmann, senior Aoife Hickey, sophomore Ilse Kaaja, sophomore Rhianna Williams and senior Rebekah Winterton each earned All-Academic honors.
To qualify for the All-Academic team, a student-athlete must have a cumulative grade point average of 3.25, and have finished the indoor season ranked in the national top 96 in an individual event or must have participated in any round of the outdoor NCAA Division I Championship.
