SALT LAKE CITY - The Utah volleyball team has released its 2016 spring tounrament dates, head coach Beth Launiere announced on Friday.
The spring schedule includes a pair of home tournaments and two road tournaments.
Utah will open the spring tournament slate on Friday, March 11 with a trip to Provo to compete in the BYU Spring Invite.
The Utes will then return home to host consecutive home tournaments with the first taking place on Saturday, March 26. Teams playing in the first tournament will be determined at a later date.
Utah will then host its final tournament of the spring on Saturday, April 2. Teams scheduled to appear include BYU, Utah State, Utah Valley, College of Southern Idaho, Weber State, Idaho State and Salt Lake Community College.
The Utes will close out spring competition on Saturday, April 9, as part of an eight-team field at the Utah Valley tournament in Orem.
Utah returns 12 letterwinners from last season's squad, which includes Pac-12 All-Conference honorees Adora Anae and Berkeley Oblad. Anae was a first team selection this past fall, while Oblad was named to the all-freshman squad.
The spring roster includes a handful of players with extensive starting experience from this past season, while also bringing back a couple of redshirt freshmen and introducing an incoming freshman.
