Katie Rogers has been named the Pac-12 Defensive Player of the Week after netting the game-winner vs. No. 9 UCLA
This is the first weekly honor of Rogers' career and the 12th for Utah Soccer
Rogers, a senior defensive midfielder and one of the team leaders, headed home the winner against the Bruins on Sunday giving the Utes their first win over a ranked team since 2011. She has started all but one game for Utah over the last three seasons.
The No. 23 Utes are back in action this Friday at 3 p.m. MT vs. No. 22 Colorado on the Pac-12 Networks.
