SALT LAKE CITY - Utah Soccer had two student-athletes, sophomore
Hailey Skolmoski and freshman
Tavia Leachman selected as All-Pacific Region choices by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America. This is the eighth time in program history the Utes have had multiple honorees.
Skolmoski was named First Team All-Region after becoming the first Ute to earn First Team All Pac-12 status. She led the conference in goals (13) and points (29) during the regular season and was a two-time Offensive Player of the Week.
She is the fifth Ute to earn First Team All-Region status and first since Kelly Isleib in 2009. Skolmoski could become Utah's second NSCAA All-American, joining Adele Letro (2
nd team, 2006)
Leachman became the eighth Ute to earn second team all-region honors after being appointed to this year's Pac-12 All-Freshman Team. She started every game at center back for the Utes and anchored one of the stingiest defenses in the country.
