Utah Soccer to Hold Kickin’ in the New Year Showcase Clinic

Utah Soccer is hosting its Kickin' in the New Year Showcase clinic on Dec. 30 and Jan. 2.
What better way to bring in the New Year by playing the game you love in front of college coaches? Each team is guaranteed four 50-minute games. Please confirm your interest via an email to assistant coach Gabe Smart (gsmart@huntsman.utah.edu). To register your team, mail your entry fee to:

What: Indoor Soccer 11v11. Four games, 50 minutes each, Two 25-minute halves with a two-minute halftime.
When: Friday, December 30 and Monday, January 2
Times: Games will be played between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m.. No games will be scheduled after 6 p.m. on either day.
Divisions: U15, U16. Only 5 teams in each division
Price: '01 and '00 (U15, U16) age groups are $600 per team
Parking: There is two-hour parking on the street which is strictly enforced by the city. The lots across the street from Eccles are open to park in as the school is not in session and they will not be ticketing
Where: Spence Eccles Field house - 650 South Guardsman Way in Salt Lake City. Directions are below:
DIRECTIONS:
· From I-15 Take the 600 South exit. Take 600 South to 700 East and turn left. Turn right at 400 South. Continue heading east until you come to the Guardsman Way/Campus Center Drive intersection, then turn right. Spence Eccles Field House will be on the right-hand side.
· From Foothill Boulevard (Northbound): Follow Foothill until you come to Sunnyside, take a left. Stay on Sunnyside until Guardsman Way then turn right. Spence Eccles Field House will be on the left-hand side.
**Price includes a lecture on "Developing your game for the college level" given by head coach Rich Manning and "The benefits of proper warm-up and recovery" by head trainer Tom Iriye. Times TBA.
