Volleyball Set to Host Spring Tournament on Saturday

- 2016 Utah Spring Tournament Schedule
SALT LAKE CITY - The Utah volleyball team will hold its annual Spring Tournament this Saturday, April 2 at Crimson Court (HPER 101).
The tournament, which features Utah, BYU, Weber State, College of Southern Idaho, Utah Valley, Utah State, Salt Lake Community College and Idaho State, will begin at 9 a.m. with matches to follow every hour. Matches are limited to one hour each with teams playing two sets in each game. Should matches finish before the hour ends, the following match could begin earlier than scheduled.
Utah is in Pool A along with BYU, Weber State and CSI, while Pool B teams include Utah Valley, Utah State, Idaho State and Southern Idaho.
The Utes will open the event against Weber State at 9 a.m. and then follow with a match against CSI (appox. 11 a.m.). Utah's afternoon session will be against BYU (approx. 2 p.m.). Playoff matches will then follow with play beginning at approximately 3 p.m.
