Volleyball Wins Spring Tournament

SALT LAKE CITY - The Utah volleyball team tallied a 2-0-1 record on the way to winning the Utah Spring Invitational that was held at Crimson Court on Saturday.
The Utes opened the tournament picking up a win against Weber State (2-0) in Pool A play and then posted a split aginast College of Southern Idaho (1-1). Utah later closed out pool play with a 2-0 win over BYU, which helped send the Utes to the tournament finals to face Utah State.
The Utes went on to defeat the Aggies, 2-1, in the finals to claim the victory in the squad's home spring tournament.
Utah will close out spring tournament action next Saturday, April 9, at the Utah State Spring Tournament. Tournament details will be released later this week.
