THE GAME
The Utah Runnin' Utes (12-5, 3-2) hit the road this week for a pair of games in the Evergreen State. The Utes will play at Washington State (9-8, 2-3) this Wednesday, Jan. 18, before closing out the week at Washington on Saturday, Jan. 21.
The Utes and Cougars will-tip off at 6 p.m. PST at Beasley Coliseum in Pullman, Wash., on Wednesday. The Utes and Huskies will tip-off at 5 p.m. PST at Alaska Airlines Arena in Seattle on Saturday.
COVERING THE RUNNIN' UTES
Both Wednesday and Saturday's contests will be televised live on the Pac-12 Network. Greg Heister will call the action, while Dan Dickau provides color commentary for Wednesday's game. Ted Robinson will provide play-by-play commentary for Saturday's contest and he will be joined by Don MacLean, who will be on-hand for color analysis.
Fans can also follow the action on-line by logging onto Pac-12.com/live or watching via smart phones and tablets using the Pac-12 Now App, which can be downloaded at the Apple Store, Google Play Store or Amazon Apps Store.

LAST TIME OUT
Utah earned a split against both top-25 ranked Los Angeles squads, picking up an 86-64 win over No. 25 USC this past Thursday, but falling 83-82 to No. 4 UCLA on Saturday.
• The Utes faced back-to-back top-25 ranked teams in the regular season for the first time since 2011.
• Utah's win over USC was the team's first victory over a top-25 ranked team this season.
• The Utes shot 55 percent from the field and a season-best 53 percent from beyond the arc in its win over the Trojans.
• Utah limited the Trojans to just 37 percent from the field and outscored USC, 38-24, in the paint.
• Five players scored in double figures against USC and were led by freshman
Devon Daniels' 17 points on the evening. Daniels was a perfect 3-of-3 from downtown.
• The Utes pushed its winning streak against USC to eight straight games.

ABOUT WASHINGTON STATE
• The Cougars are coming off consecutive losses in the Bay Area and have dropped three straight after opening Pac-12 play with back-to-back wins.
• The Cougars had won four straight prior to its current three-game losing streak.
• WSU is averaging 70.2 points on the season, but are giving up 73.2 points to opposing teams.
• Opposing squads are out-rebounding the Cougars by a +2.7 margin on the season.
• WSU ranks first in the league with just 15.6 personal fouls per game. Opponents have taken just 257 free throw attempts against the Cougars.
• The Cougars are first in the Pac-12 and sixth in the nation with a team .785 free throw percentage.

SERIES HISTORY WITH THE COUGARS
The Utes have won five straight and lead 19-4 all-time in a series that dates back to 1938. Utah's last loss to the Cougars was a 49-46 defeat back on Jan. 12, 2014, at Beasley Coliseum. Since the loss, Utah has won back-to-back games in Pullman, while registering an all-time record of 4-2 against the Cougars on the road.
Utah swept the season series last year, winning by an average of 31.0 points per meeting. The Utes have an average winning margin of +22.0 during the current five-game winning streak.
ABOUT WASHINGTON
• The Huskies dropped both its match-ups against Bay Area teams this past weekend and have been defeated in four of its past five games.
• The Huskies are averaging 81.5 points per game, which ranks third-most in the Pac-12, but are giving up 78.2 points to opponents (11th in the league).
• UW ranks second in the league and sixth in the nation with 6.4 blocked shots per game. Malike Dime is third in the Pac-12 and 18th in the nation with his 2.6 blocks per game average.
• UW is shooting .403 as a team from beyond the arc, which ranks 16th in the nation. David Crisp is shooting a team-best .442 from downtown - good enough for second in the Pac-12 and top-25 in the nation.
• Freshman Markelle Fultz leads the Pac-12 and ranks 12th in the nation with his 22.2 points per game average. Fultz also ranks second in the league and 16th in the nation with 6.1 assists per game.
SERIES HISTORY WITH THE HUSKIES
The Utes lead the all-time series 11-9 after sweeping the season series from the Huskies last year. Utah has won five of its past six games against UW.
Utah is just 3-6 all-time when facing the Huskies in Seattle, but have won two of the past three games at Alaska Airlines Arena.
