HONOLULU, Hawaii - No. 20 Utah Softball remained perfect at Hawaii's Outrigger Spring Fling Tournament with a 5-1 victory over Charleston Southern this afternoon.

Hannah Flippen blasted her fourth home run of the season to start the game, tying her with
Heather Bowen for the team lead.

In the third,
Ally Dickman and
Delilah Pacheco singled to begin the frame. Dickman was lifted for pinch-runner
Kay Kay Fronda and after a wild pitch, both Utes came in to score on an
Anissa Urtez single.

CSU got on the board in the fifth when Stevi Johnson came through with a RBI single to make it 3-1

Utah quickly responded with
Alyssa Barrera singling and taking second on an error in the outfield. After an Urtez single, Bowen executed a successful squeeze to get the run back.
Bella Secaira would follow with a third-straight bunt as Urtez swiftly scored to make it 5-1.

Katie Donovan picked up her 10
th win of the season and third of the tournament, going five innings and allowing one run on four hits with five strikeouts.
Miranda Viramontes returned to the lineup and pitched a perfect sixth while
Hailey Hilburn notched a scoreless seventh

Utah concludes tournament play tomorrow at 12 pm HT/3 pm MT vs. Toledo
