SALT LAKE CITY - The Utah volleyball team will hold its annual Spring Tournament this Saturday, April 1 at Crimson Court (HPER 101).
The tournament, which features Utah, Boise State, BYU, Idaho State, Utah State, Utah Valley, and Salt Lake Community College, will begin at 9 a.m. with matches to follow approximately every hour. Pool A round-robin play will be two sets and Pool B round-robin will be three sets. Should matches finish before the hour ends, the following match could begin earlier than scheduled.
Utah will be in Pool B along with BYU and Boise State, while Pool A teams include Utah Valley, Utah State, Idaho State and SLCC.
The Utes will open the event against Boise State at 9 a.m. and then follow with a match against BYU (appox. 1 p.m.). Due to just three teams in Pool B, Utah, BYU and Boise State will play pre-determined, listed times against teams from Pool A during the crossover matches. Pool A crossover match times will be determined by where they finish in pool play.
Admission to the tournament is free and parking will be available in both North and East HPER parking lots. Matches will not be streamed online.
