Top team in Pac-12 with 17 awards, nine straight seasons honored

KANSAS CITY – The United Soccer Coaches honored Utah Soccer with a Team Academic Award. This award is for the 2017-18 academic year where the Utes posted a 3.44 team GPA.

Last season, Hailey Skolmoski earned CoSIDA Academic All-District honors and Paola van der Veen garnered a spot on the United Soccer Coaches Scholar All-West Region team.

Sixteen Utes picked up Pac-12 All-Academic accolades with Max Flom earning first team honors. Skolmoski was named to the second team with Van der Veen, Holly Daugirda, Ireland Dunn, Aleea Gwerder, Haylee Cacciacarne, Kristin Fairbairn, Tavia Leachman and Carly Nelson corralling honorable mention spots

Utah has now earned 17 United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Awards, more than any other Pac-12 school. The Utes have been honored every season since 2009, the longest streak of any conference team.
