PALO ALTO – The Utes will take on No. 2 Stanford in Palo Alto on Sunday, November 4 at 3 p.m. MT.
In the first match against the Cardinal this season, the Utes took the second set to even things up 1-1, but Stanford closed things out in four.
Stanford has been ranked No. 2 both times they have played this season.

Last Time Out: Utah dropped a tough one against Cal in Haas Pavillion. With the match even at one set apiece, Cal took the next two sets.
The Utes had appeared to force extra points in the third, but Cal got a call overturned to take the set 25-23 and then didn't let go of the momentum after that.
Dani Drews,
Kenzie Koerber and
Megan Yett all had good matches against the Golden Bears. They combined for 42 kills and only nine errors.
3,000 ASSISTS
Setter
Bailey Choy is sitting at 2,953 career assists. She would become the sixth player in program history to surpass the 3,000-assist mark.
This season, Choy has averaged 8.27 assists per set and has 794 on the season.
In 2017, she became the first player with over 1,000 assists in a season since the 2010 season.
1,000 CAREER DIGS
Against Washington State,
Brianna Doehrmann became the 11th player in program history and 164th player in Pac-12 history that reached the 1,000-career digs mark.
She's been on fire lately having at least 18 digs in six of the last nine matches.
Overall, she has had six matches with 20-plus digs including the match against No. 25 Arizona where she had a season high 28 digs averaging 7.0 digs per set.
In the season, Doehrmann is eighth in the Pac-12 averaging 3.98 digs per set and has stepped that up in conference play averaging 4.20 digs per set.
DREWS DOES IT ALL
Sophomore
Dani Drews has been a consistent force for the Utes this season on offense and defense. She leads the team with 363 kills and is second on the team with 244 digs.
Drews has only had two matches this season where she didn't have double-figure kills. Not only is she strong on offense, but has averaged 2.57 digs per set as well.
She is sixth in the Pac-12 averaging 4.45 points per set and is seventh in conference averaging 3.86 kills per set.
Rarely leaving the floor, Drews also leads the team with 32 aces on the season. Her .34 aces per set is fifth in the Pac-12.

First up, will be nationally ranked Arizona on Friday, November 9 at 7 p.m. Then they will turn their attention to Arizona State on Sunday, November 11.
