SALT LAKE CITY – After stumbling against Colorado on the road to begin Pac-12 play on Wednesday night, No. 23 Utah returns home to host No. 17 UCLA on Friday, September 21 at 7 p.m. in the Huntsman Center.

Last Time Out: Utah dropped a heartbreaker to Colorado in five sets on the road to begin Pac-12 play.
Dani Drews led the team with 20 kills and notched her sixth double-double of the season with 10 digs. The Utes had two leads in the match after the first and third set, but Colorado bounced back both times to force a fifth set and then came away with the victory.

SERIES HISTORY
Against UCLA, the Utes are 4-20, but for the first time in program history swept the Bruins last season. This is the fourth match in a row between the two teams that both are nationally ranked in the AVCA Coaches Poll.
Double-doubles
Dani Drews and
Bailey Choy each have six double-doubles this season. That is tied for second in the Pac-12 and only one double-double behind the conference leader, Kendra Dahlke.
Lauga Gauta is also towards the top of the Pac-12 with with five double-doubles.
Utah is one of two Pac-12 teams with three players that have at least five double-doubles at this point in the season.
Going the distance
Utah has played in five five-set matches so far this season going 2-3 in those matches.
Last season, the Utes played in seven five-set matches.
Since joining the Pac-12 in 2011, the most five setters the Utes have played in is eight back in 2012.

In 2017, Utah averaged 2,017 fans in its 16 home matches. Out of the top-10 crowds in the Huntsman Center ever, six of the 10 came in 2017.
This season, Utah fans haven't slowed down as the Utes rank 15th in the country averaging 2,322 fans per match.
