Why did you choose Utah and what other schools were recruiting you?
I chose Utah because it was in my backyard and they are in the Pac-12 Conference which has great baseball. They also have amazing facilities and are still getting better and better facilities every year. Their weight room is amazing and is by far the most important thing I think in a college career. I was being recruited by Arizona, Cal, TCU, San Diego and BYU.

Who has been the most influential person or people in your life and why?
My mom has been the most influential person in my career of baseball and in life. She pushes me to achieve my goals and to do the best I can possibly do. She has always been there for me when I need her and tries to help with whatever I might be struggling with.
What is your favorite baseball memory so far?
I have two favorite baseball memories. The first was me going to Cooperstown to play baseball when I was 12 years old and the second was winning the state championship my sophomore year in high school.
What are you most excited about in playing baseball for the Utes?
I am very excited to play baseball for the Utes because they play in an amazing stadium. I also love the coaches and they try their best to take care of me. Go Utes!!!
Â
What goals do you have while in college as well as after college?
I plan on getting a good degree in what I love doing best while I try to figure it out. I hope to win the Pac and make a charge to Omaha. Last but not least, I plan on getting drafted like everyone's dream is to do. I want to work hard and try my best to get myself there especially with the amazing coaches I will be with while at Utah.
