SALT LAKE CITY – Utah volleyball's
Kenzie Koerber has been named Pac-12 Offensive Player of the Week after helping lead the Utes to a perfect weekend over UCLA and USC.
Koerber was a key part in the Utes sweeping UCLA and USC for the second time in program history. She totaled 32 kills averaging 4.0 kills per set while hitting .467 and only making four errors all weekend.
Against UCLA, the junior right side had her fifth double-double of the season finishing with 14 kills and 10 digs. She hit .522 against the Bruins.
Koerber followed that up with an even better performance against USC as she led the team with 18 kills while hitting .432. The 18 kills are the second most she has had this season and were a huge reason that Utah came back from two sets down to win the match against the Trojans.
It is her first-career player of the week honor and Utah's 14
th all-time.
Koerber and her teammates will be back on the court this weekend as they take on Cal on Friday, October 18 and Stanford on Sunday, October 20.
