Prior to the 2019 Utah Soccer season, get to know some of the student-athletes. Today, meet Brianna Pearson
Q: How did your interest in soccer begin?
My parents put me in at the age of five
Q: What is your favorite part about playing soccer?
It puts me in the best mood. I love competing and the relationships with my teammates and coaches
Q: What made you choose Utah?
It is not too far from California and we play in the Pac-12. The coaching staff is awesome!
Q: What are some of your favorite things to do outside of playing soccer?
Watch television, lift, socialize with friends
Q: What is the best piece of advice you have received?
Never give up, no matter the situation
Q: Who is your biggest influence in life and why?
My dad because he believes in me and is my biggest supporter
Q: What do you think the keys to success are?
Time management and staying focused
Q: If you could play or go pro in any other sport, what would it be and why?
Gymnastics because it was my second sport besides soccer
Q: What are you looking forward to most this season?
Game days, traveling with the team and making the NCAA Tournament
Q: What is your favorite part about being on the soccer team at Utah?
The team. These girls are my best friends
Q: Where is your favorite place to eat in Salt Lake City?

Phone, face wash, lotion

Australia or Thailand because of the beaches
