SALT LAKE CITY – Utah has always been known for being a strong, physical team at the net.
A big part of that along with their middle blockers is their opposite. On this year's team, the Utes have a two-time All-American in that spot that will rarely come off the floor.
Kenzie Koerber had a career year in her junior season and got rewarded by being named an AVCA Second Team All-American. She set career highs with 400 kills and 323 digs, while also having 109.0 blocks and was the only player in the Pac-12 to win Offensive Player of the Week and Defensive Player of the Week during the season.
Koerber rarely comes off the floor playing all six rotations.
Another right side that has been named an AVCA All-American at Utah is Shelby Dalton. In 2013, she earned honorable mention honors after having 336 kills and 141 blocks.
