SALT LAKE CITY – The Utah men's basketball non-conference schedule fills out with the addition of UTSA on Tuesday, Dec. 13, inside the Jon M. Huntsman Center.
Â
This will just be the second time the Runnin' Utes and Roadrunners have squared off. Utah got the best of UTSA back on Dec. 29, 2009, Salt Lake City 69-47. In total, the Utes are 28-9 all-time against Conference USA opponents.
Â
Steve Henson begins his seventh season at the helm in San Antonio in 2022-23. Henson led the Roadrunners to just their second 20 win season since the turn of the century his second-year on the job and was named CUSA Coach of the Year and the NABC District 11 Coach of the Year.
Â
With the announcement of the UTSA game, Utah completes its non-conference schedule that will feature seven home games, three neutral games and one true road game at BYU. Additionally, the Utes will have Arizona (Dec. 1) at home and Washington State (Dec. 4) on the road as part of its early conference games since the move to a 20-game league schedule.
