Utah Softball Again Receives Votes in Multiple Polls

Utes receive 17 total votes between NFCA and ESPN.com/USA Softball rankings
LOUISVILLE, Ky. – For the second consecutive week, the University of Utah softball team found itself on the minds of voters in the USA Today/NFCA Top 25 poll and the ESPN.com/USA Softball rankings, as the Utes received votes in both publications.
This comes after a 20-game start in which the Utes went 16-4, their best record through 20 games since 2017, which was also the last time the team reached the NCAA Tournament. Utah's record includes a seven-game win streak and the Utes went 5-0 during their most recent road trip to the Hawaii Spring Fling.
The top five remained the same in the NFCA poll, led by Oklahoma at No. 1 and UCLA at No. 2. Oklahoma State is stayed in the third spot, as did Clemson in fourth in Florida State at No. 5. The ESPN.com/USA Softball had the same top four, but Tennessee was voted fifth in those rankings.
