SALT LAKE CITY – The Utah men's basketball team heads to the Palouse for the final time in the Pac-12 Era as it goes for the in-season sweep of Washington State on Wednesday, Jan. 24, inside Beasley Coliseum. Ted Robinson will have the call alongside Eldridge Recasner on Pac-12 Networks beginning at 8 p.m. (MT).
ON THE PALOUSE
The Runnin' Utes have had success against Washington State since in the Pac-12 Era, sitting at 30-6 all-time. Utah is 9-3 all-time on the Palouse and 7-3 there since joining the Pac-12. Pullman is just 1-of-2 cities where Utah has had success on the road – the other being Berkeley where Utah is 5-3 in Pac-12 play.
AGAINST THE UPPER LEFT COAST
In the Pac-12 Era, Utah has swept Washington State and Washington both at home and on the road in the same season three times – all of which were consecutive years from 2015-18. Additionally, The Utes have swept the in-season series against Washington six (2014-19, 22-23).

Deivon Smith and four other players in double-figures, the Utah men's basketball team defeated Oregon at home for the first time since March 9, 2013, and third time overall in the Pac-12 Era by a score of 80-77. Smith finished with career-high 24 points, 11 rebounds and 8 assists.
Cole Bajema added 13 points and 8 rebounds with 2 blocks while
Keba Keita,
Branden Carlson and
Ben Carlson all chipping in with a dozen points apiece. The back-and-forth game saw 15 lead changes and nine ties with both times combining to shoot 23-of-49 from 3-point range.
UP NEXT
Utah will take a plane ride to Seattle for a battle against Washington on Saturday, Jan. 27, inside Alaska Airlines Arena. Tip-off is set for 8 p.m. (MT) on ESPN2 with Dave Feldman and Corey Williams once again guiding fans through the action.
LOOKING AHEAD
Utah will get some extra time to rest and regroup as it hosts Colorado for the last time inside the Jon M. Huntsman Center as members of the Pac-12 for a single game at home that week to start a three-game homestand on Saturday, Feb. 3.
