Utah Football Heads To Colorado For Saturday Morning Matchup

THE GAME
With just three regular season games remaining, the University of Utah Football team is hitting the road to take on the Colorado Buffaloes on Saturday, Nov. 16. The game is set for a 10 a.m. MT kick on FOX.Â

NEW CONFERENCE, NEW CHALLENGE
Utah Football began a new era in 2024, joining the Big 12 Conference. The Utes have also been a part of the Rocky Mountain Conference (1910-1937), the Big Seven (1938-1947), the Skyline (1948-1961), the Western Athletic Conference (1962-1998), the Mountain West (1999-2010) and the Pac-12 (2011-2023).
•     Utah is 446-265-19 all-time in conference games (.625), including its first win in the Big 12 against Oklahoma State (Sept. 21, 2024, W, 22-19).Â
•     Utah is 32-15 in conference games since 2019.
•     The Utes bring 28 conference championships with them to the Big 12.
THE NUMBERS
•     Head Coach Kyle Whittingham is set to coach in his 377th overall game at Utah and his 251st as head coach on Saturday.
•     The game on Saturday will be the 71st overall between the Utes and the Buffaloes with Utah winning the last seven games in the all-time series.Â
•     Utah is only allowing 175.0 passing yards per game, which ranks second in the Big 12.Â
•     Utah's game against Colorado on Saturday will be the Utes' second-straight game against an AP Top 25 opponent.Â
UTAH FOOTBALL: NEED TO KNOWS
•     Utah's defense is only allowing opponents to convert on 23.8% of their third down attempts, which ranks first in the FBS.Â
•     The Utes are also leading the Big 12 in first downs defense (134), scoring defense (17.1) and total defense (307.4).
