Runnin' Utes Open Mountain to Sea Showcase with Mississippi Valley State Tuesday

The Utah basketball team hosts Mississippi Valley State on Tuesday, Nov. 26, at 7 p.m. (MST) as part of the Mountain to Sea Showcase.
SALT LAKE CITY – The Utah men's basketball team continues its six-game homestand this Tuesday, Nov. 26, when it entertains Mississippi Valley Start for a 7 p.m. (MST) match-up inside the Jon M. Huntsman Center to open the Mountain to Sea Showcase.
Drew Goodman will have the call alongside former Runnin' Utes assistant coach Joe Cravens on ESPN+ as the Ute and Delta Devils square off for the first time since 2019 and fourth time in program history.

BOARD MAN WINS
After pulling down 50 rebounds against Utah Tech, the Utes have now recorded 50-plus rebounds in three of its first five games. The last time Utah had 50-plus boards four times in a single-season was last season (2023-24). Prior to that, the last time Utah had four or more games with 50-plus boards dated back to the 2016-17 season when it had five games with 50-plus boards.

The last time Utah and Mississippi Valley State squared off, the Runnin' Utes were firing on all cylinders and set some program and NCAA all-time marks with its 143-49 win over the Delta Devils.
In addition, Utah became the first program since 1996-97 per STATS that had two players record a triple-double in the same game.

The Runnin' Utes will host St. Mary's on Saturday, Dec. 7, inside the Jon M. Huntsman Center to wrap up its home-and-home contract with the Gaels. Utah is 16-3 all-time against St. Mary's and won the last meeting in Moraga 78-71. Tip-off between the Utes and Gaels is slated for 5 p.m. (MST) on ESPN+ with Pete Sousa on the call.
