DALLAS – The Big 12 Conference officially finalized dates and opponents for the upcoming 2024-25 men's basketball season the league announced on Thursday. Tip-off times and TV network designations will be released at a later date.

Utah's Big 12 schedule will mostly follow a Saturday and Tuesday cadence with the exception of three Wednesday games, one Sunday game and one Big Monday game.
The Runnin' Utes will open up Big 12 Conference play on the road to end the calendar year, facing Baylor inside Foster Pavilion on Tuesday, Dec. 31. It'll be the first time the two programs have faced off since 1960 with Utah leading the all-time series 3-0. Utah then returns home to host its first Big 12 contest on Saturday, Jan. 4, against Texas Tech.
Utah then heads to Ames, Iowa, for the first time since Dec. 30, 1936, for a battle against Iowa State on Tuesday, Jan. 7, before welcoming in Oklahoma State on Saturday, Jan. 11. The Utes will have a shorter turnaround the following week with a trip to Ft. Worth, Texas, to face the Horned Frogs of TCU on Wednesday, Jan. 15.
The deep-rooted rivalry between Utah and BYU returns to conference play for the first time since the 2010-11 season on Saturday, Jan. 18, when the Runnin' Utes host the Cougars. Utah won inside the Jon M. Huntsman Center last season 73-69 behind
Gabe Madsen's 17 points (5-for-9 3FGM).
Utah then hits the road against a tough Houston team inside the Fertitta Center on Jan. 21 before returning home to host a pair of games against Baylor (Jan. 25) and Cincinnati (Jan. 28). The Utes make their return to Gallagher-Iba Arena for the first time since 1953 when they take the floor against Oklahoma State on Saturday, Feb. 1.
A familiar foe then comes to SLC in Colorado for a midweek match-up on Wednesday, Feb. 5, before embarking on a two-game road trip starting with West Virginia on Saturday, Feb. 8. The Utes then close out their road swing with Cincinnati on Tuesday, Feb. 11, and play the Bearcats for the first time since 1965.
The Runnin' Utes then head back home to welcome in the Kansas Jayhawks on Saturday, Feb. 15, before hosting the Josh Eilert's alma mater, Kansas State, for a Big Monday game on Feb. 17. Utah will go on its longest road trip of the year the following week with a Sunday, Feb. 23, match-up at UCF (Central Florida). It'll just be the second match-up ever between the Utes and Knights since the two first squared off in Puerto Rico back in 2006. The Utes then close out the road swing with another mid-week match-up, this time inside McKale Center versus Arizona on Feb. 26.
Utah's final homestand of the regular-season will feature Bobby Hurley and his Arizona State Sun Devils on Saturday, March 1, ahead of the Mountaineers coming to the Jon M. Huntsman Center for the first time since 1974 on Tuesday, March 4.
The Runnin' Utes close out the regular-season with a huge match-up as they head down I-15 for for the 266th meeting all-time against BYU inside the Marriott Center on Saturday, March 8.
Ute fans will have a new destination this year with the Big 12 Conference Tournament being held inside the T-Mobile Center (March 11-15) in Kansas City.
