SALT LAKE CITY – University of Utah volleyball head coach
Beth Launiere has announced the signing of Allie Grossenbach to join the Utes for the 2025 season.
"Allie is a tremendous athlete with great upside," said Launiere. "She is a skilled left-handed opposite who has great blocking instincts and plays high above the net. We couldn't be more excited about Allie becoming a Ute and can't wait to get her in our gym to begin work."
The 6-foot standout outside hitter from Herriman, Utah, has consistently proven herself as a dominant force on the court. While at Mountain Ridge High School, Grossenbach was named first-team all-region 6A in both her junior and senior seasons, earning third-team all-state honors as a junior and second-team all-state recognition as a senior.
During her high school career, Grossenbach led her team to a runner-up finish at the Utah state championships in her sophomore season and was frequently ranked among the top 10 in the region for hitting percentage. In a match against Farmington during her junior season she recorded 22 kills, five blocks and an impressive .349 hitting percentage.
Competing at the club level with Club GSL, Grossenbach collected multiple tournament medals and was recognized as an MVP for her standout performances.
Grossenbach is the daughter of Matt and Stacey Grossenbach and has two younger siblings, Kylie and Gavin. In her free time, she enjoys camping, boating and fishing, drawing, baking and playing pickleball.
