IRVING, Texas – The Big 12 Conference officially released the
2025-26 men's basketball schedule on Tuesday that features five Saturday home games for Utah men's basketball. Tip-times and TV designations will be released at a later date.
Â
Like last season, Utah will start the opening month of Big 12 play alternating between home and away games as it enters its second season in the league and first under head coach
Alex Jensen on Saturday, Jan. 3, against a familiar foe in Arizona.
Â
Utah then heads up to Boulder, Colo., for the first time in two years to face Colorado in a mid-week match-up on Wednesday, Jan. 7 before returning home for the first of two rivalry games against BYU on Saturday, Jan. 10. The Utes then travel to the LBK for the first time since 1984 to square off against Texas Tech on Wednesday, Jan. 14. They then return home to host TCU in the Jon M. Huntsman Center for the first time since their Mountain West days in 2011 on Saturday, Jan. 17.
Â
The Runnin' Utes then hit the road for back-to-back games, starting with Kansas State (Jan. 20) before closing the in-season match-up against rival BYU (Jan. 24) down in the Marriott Center. It'll be just the second time the Utes have played against K-State in the Little Apple and first meeting ever inside Bramlage Coliseum when the two square off.
Â
Utah then returns home to host the Oklahoma State Cowboys (Jan. 31) before welcoming in Arizona State on Wednesday, Feb. 4. The Utes will play in Allen Fieldhouse for the first time ever on Saturday, Feb. 7, when it takes the court against Kansas. Utah got the best of a ranked Jayhawks team last season 74-67 in SLC. Â
The Utes hit the road for their lone road swing of the year starting on Sunday, Feb. 15, when they face off against Cincinnati at Fifth Third Arena before continuing east to Morgantown to battle West Virginia (Feb. 18) in a midweek contest.
Â
UCF comes to the Jon M. Huntsman Center for the first time in program history on Saturday, Feb. 21, to start a short two-game homestand before the Iowa State Cyclones (Feb. 24) come to town. The Runnin' Utes then hit the road to Tempe, Ariz., where they'll take on the Arizona State Sun Devils on Saturday, Feb. 28, before returning home to host senior day against the Buffaloes on Tuesday, March 3.
