Abbi Ryssman continued her upward trajectory with the Red Rocks last weekend against Iowa State, posting a career high on beam of 9.925 and a solid 9.85 on bars. The Rochester, Minn. naitive not only helped Utah to their first Big 12 win of 2026, but her
second Big 12 Newcomer of the Week award in as many weeks.
Ryssman's 9.925 was part of a string of 9.90+ scores on beam that gave the Utes their best team score on the event for the year of 49.500 while earning her a second-place finish on the event only behind teammate
Ana Padurariu (9.95).
