SALT LAKE CITY – The 2026 outdoor schedule was unveiled for Utah track & field and features 10 meets across seven weekends – including the annual Utah Spring Classic on Saturday, April 11 at the McCarthey Family Track & Field Complex.
Â
Utah kicks off the outdoor season with a couple in-state meets, starting with the Utah Tech Invitational on March 21 down in St. George, Utah, before taking a quick drive down south to the UVU Invitational (March 26).
Â
That same weekend as the UVU Invitational, the Women of Utah will then take their first road trip of the season on March 28 when they compete at the Trojan Invitational. The Utes will then head over to The Farm the weekend of April 3-4 to race at the Stanford Invitational.
Â
Utah then heads back home to race at the Weber State Spring Classic (April 10) before hosting the annual Utah Spring Classic the very next day on April 11. The squad then heads to the Mecca of track & field for the Oregon Team Invitational (April 17-18) at Hayward Field.
Â
The Utes then return to the Blue Oval for the 116th edition of the Drake Relays (April 23-25) before the squad splits up for the final week of the regular-season at the Robison Invitational (April 29-30) and Desert Heat Classic (May 2).
Â
Arizona plays host to the 2026 Big 12 Outdoor Track & Field Championships (May 14-16) to kick off the championships season at Drachman Stadium and will serve as Utah's last chance to run a qualifying time for regionals.
Â
Utah will then send any athletes that run a qualifying time during the regular-season to Fayetteville, Ark., for the NCAA West Regionals at John McDonnell Field (May 28 & 30). Those that advance out of the regional will return to Hayward Field for the NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships (June 11 & 13) in Eugene, Ore.
