Tim LaComb, a Utah high school basketball coach for the past six years, is in his first season as the head manager with the Runnin' Utes.
LaComb is working with the Utah basketball program for the second time around. He was a manager under former head coach Rick Majerus from 1994-96. The Utes won the WAC championship both years and went to the NCAA Sweet 16 in 1996.
LaComb was an assistant coach at Lone Peak High School from 1999-2002 and American Fork High School from 2002-05. His teams reached the state semifinals four times in six years. Lone Peak won the state championship in 2000-01.
A native of Alpine, Utah, LaComb was born on May 15, 1970. He is majoring in communications at the U. Tim and his wife, Rachel, have three children: Alyssa (10), Sam (6), and Anna (born in September).
