2022: Pac-12 All-Defensive team... Pac-12 Academic Honor Roll.. played in 49 games and started 45... threw out 13 would-be base-stealers in 16 attempts to lead the Pac-12... three multi-hit/RBI games... reached safley in eight consecutive games (sixth-longest on the team)... batted .202 with two doubles, five home runs, 14 RBI, 14 walks and five runs scored... saw her best game at the plate against California (4/10) going 2-for-3 with a home run, double, RBI and one run scored.
2021: Pac-12 Academic Honor Roll … played in 54 games and started 53, included 51 at catcher ... had four multi-hit games, as well as a seven-game hitting streak ... batted .202 (22-109) with two doubles, four home runs, 12 RBI, 13 walks and five runs scored ... threw out 11 would-be base-stealers in 22 attempts ... season-high 3 RBI, and one home run, came at UNLV (2/20).
2020: Pac-12 All-Academic selection for the second time… started 17 of the Utes’ 18 games at catcher… Batting average of .206 with 34 at bats, 1 home run, and 6 runs… fielding percentage of .946 with 63 putouts … finished the season with 7 assists.
2019: Easton/NFCA Division 1 Scholar Athlete ... First Team Pac-12 All-Academic selection ... started all 54 games at catcher ... scored 10 runs, including the first of her career vs. CSUN ... had three multi-hit games St. Bonaventure, Niagara and Arizona State) ... smacked a pair of doubles, one apiece against CSUN and SBU ... cracked five home runs (Iowa State, Northern Colorado, South Dakota, USB and ASU) ... drove in three runs on two occasions, once vs. SBU and the other time in Pac-12 play against ASU ... had multi-RBI games vs. CSUN and USD ... drew a walk in 11 contests.
2018: Played in 21 games, starting six ... had her first collegiate hit in a game at No. 9 Arizona ... collected her first double and RBI in a win over Stanford.
Prior to Utah: Faulk, a three-time Southern Arizona All-Star honoree was named to FloSoftball.com's Top 100 Watch List. A career .398 hitter that led the state in walks for head coach George Corona, she helped lead the Tigers to the quarterfinals.
Faulk was also an Arizona All-Academic Softball selection and played her travel ball for Arizona Cats, winning the 2016 Colorado Sparkler U16 championship.
Peronal: Katie is the daughter of John and Sandra Faulk and has a sister, Emily. Katie received her bachelor's degree from Utah in kinesiology in May 2021 and plans to pursue a master's degree in athletic training... She has served with fellow Utah student-athletes on the Crimson Council for three years, including as President in 2020-21 after a term as Vice President in 2019-20... She also has led the organization’s Mental Health sub-committee and continues to be part of the Wellness Ambassadors group, focusing on expanding the organization’s “Unmuted” mental health campaign... Katie was a member of the National Honor Society while serving as president of the Health Occupation Students of America club at Marana (Ariz.) HS.
