Crump Notes: Provided defensive depth for the Utes last season ... made some nice technical changes and played with a lot more confidence during spring practice ... local athlete who came to Utah well-prepared with experience in a good club system.
2008: Appeared in 16 sets during nine matches ... totaled 14 digs for a 0.88 dig-per-set average ... came up with a career-high five digs at New Mexico State (9/7) ... had three digs against Utah State (9/12) in the Ute Invitational ... dug a pair of opponent attack attempts against Texas (9/6) and at Weber State (9/30) ... had an attack attempt at WSU (9/30).
High School/Club: A two-time first-team all-region selection out of Alta High School ... a two-time team MVP and a two-year captain ... helped lead Alta to a fifth-place finish in the state in 2005 with a second-place regional finish ... also played softball at Alta ... graduated with honors and was the student body secretary for three years ... plays for Club Utah ... team has frequently finished as one of the top teams in the region and competed in the Junior Olympic Volleyball Championships, including a 10th-place finish in 2006 ... other notable tournaments include the 2006 High Performance Global Challenge.
