The Western Athletic Conference recently announced the 1998 all-WAC Baseball team. Utah's Nate Forbush and John Summers were named to the first-team. Forbush served as the Ute catcher the last two seasons and was a second-team all-WAC selection in '97. Forbush hit .403 this season, with 11 home runs and 49 RBIs. Forbush is a native of Utah and prepped at Bingham High School. Summers, a junior first baseman, was placed on the all-WAC team in just his first year. Summers led the Utes in batting average at .415 and was tops in the conference in home runs (23) and slugging percentage (.881). He was the Ute leader in hits (80), runs (60) and RBI (68). Summers transfered from Trinidad State and is a natiuve of Butte, Mont.
