SALT LAKE CITY - Mike Schneider has been hired as the new Administrative Assistant/Director of Basketball Operations for the University of Utah men's basketball program. The announcement came Friday from Ute head coach Rick Majerus.
Schneider is a recently retired colonel from the United States Army. The Sheboygan, Wis., native is a graduate of the U.S. Military Academy in West Point, N.Y., and comes to the Utes with a master's degree in business administration and a law degree.
