Men's Tennis Wins First Ever MWC Match

SALT LAKE CITY - In its first ever Mountain West Conference match, The University of Utah men's tennis team downed Air Force, 5-2. Despite a poor start, losing the doubles point, the Utes fought back winning five of six singles matches to defeat the Falcons. Regardless of the 5-2 deficit, the singles matches were extremely close with three matches going to a third set and three tie-breakers being played in the match. The win ups Utah's record to 2-4 in dual play and 1-0 in conference. The Falcons drop to 7-2 overall and 0-1 in Mountain West play.
