In Utah's 12-4 victory over San Diego State, he collected three doubles and a triple to bring in six runs. Weese leads the team with nine home runs and 44 RBI. He is tied for the Utah single game home run record (3) and the season triples record (6). He ranks third for the Utes with a .321 batting average.
In the Mountain West Conference, Weese leads the league with six triples and is second with nine home runs. He also ranks fourth with 103 total bases and fifth with a 162 at bats. He is eighth with a .636 slugging percentage. In the field, Weese leads the league with 425 chances, 396 putouts and 38 double plays. He was a Mountain West Conference Player of the Week nominee for the week of April 17-22.
