Today Utah received an at-large bid for the 2002 NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament. The Utes are seeded twelfth in the South Region this year. Thursday, March 14, they will face off against the fifth-seeded Indiana Hoosiers at Arco Arena in Sacramento, California. Tip-off times have not yet been announced.
This year's Tournament appearance marks Utah's return to the Big Dance after a one year absence.
