New Utah basketball assistant Silvey Dominguez and his boss, Rick Majerus, are certain never to get mistaken for one another. You see, Dominguez is short and skinny with black hair, while Majerus is . . . well, you know.
Still, Dominguez, who checks in at about 5-foot-6 and perhaps 140 pounds soaking wet, will fit in just fine with Majerus and his staff because of this - a consuming passion for basketball.
"I've got a passion for it 24 hours a day," said the 49-year-old Dominguez, who owns an impressive resume as a Division I assistant coach. "I love the coaching part. I love the recruiting part. I love the camaraderie with the team. I love being around young kids, and I love being able to travel around the country."
