SALT LAKE CITY - Tim Frost, who recently completed his junior year at the University of Utah, is one of 52 players who have been invited to participate in the 2003 USA Basketball Men's National Team Trials. The trials will take place May 30-June 1 at the U.S. Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Colo.
Frost, a 6-10 post player from Klamath Falls, Ore., was named second team all-Mountain West Conference last season. Starting all 33 games in his first season with the Utes after transferring from Portland, Frost averaged 12.8 points and 4.9 rebounds in 25.9 minutes per game. He also shot 43.3 percent from three-point range and had 26 blocked shots.
