Softball Waits Out Rain Delay

LAS VEGAS, Nev. - The University of Utah softball team saw its first two games of the Louisville Slugger Desert Classic rained out here in Las Vegas, Nev., this afternoon.
The games against Oregon State and Hawaii were cancelled due to heavy rain in southern Nevada.
Weather permitting, action will pick up on Saturday with day two's schedule of Texas Tech (12:30 p.m.) and Wichita State (8 p.m.).
Day three's docket on Sunday may be re-arranged so Utah's time and opponent on Sunday are yet-to-be-determined.
