SAN DIEGO, Calif. - The University of Utah softball team's run in the Campbell/Cartier Tournament here in San Diego, Calif., has come to an abrupt end.
Due to constant rain delays and rescheduling, the balance of Utah's schedule at San Diego State's tournament has been cancelled.
The Utes did get three games under their belts, dropping contests to Fresno State, Notre Dame and Santa Clara.
The team returns to action next weekend at Oregon State's Palm Springs Classic in Palm Springs, Calif.
