Salt Lake City - The University of Utah men's tennis team downed No. 65 Denver 6-1 in the Eccles Tennis Center. The men's tennis team remains undefeated (7-0) this season.
The Utes were the first to get on the scoreboard by sweeping all the doubles matches.
Utah won five of six singles contests to seal the deal. Zach Ganger defeated Viktor Zetterholm (6-2, 7-6(1)) at No.1 while Miron Mann downed Niklas Persson (6-3, 6-4) at No. 3. Nick Coutts beat Jason Tan (6-3, 6-3) at No. 4, while Ryan Scott def. Kalle Rosen (7-6, 6-0) at No. 5. Dan Mascall took three matches to dispatch his opponent, Steve Flaks (4-6, 6-1, 6-4) at No. 6.
Tomorrow, Feb. 27, the Utes take on No. 69 Denver at home.
