Diana Philips-
Even though I played during the fall and this will not be my first college game, I still feel a lot of pressure to perform well. I feel that I have to prove to my teammates and the other teams that I deserve to play on the same field as them. Even though it is a little nerve racking, I am still very excited to play.
Kelly Matthews-
This season started the first day I got to Utah. From lifting massive amounts of weights to running my little heart out preparing myself for the game that has come so quickly, tomorrow. "WHOO HOO!" We are the hardest working team out there, and I know that it will pay off. I am soooo pumped to show our stuff tomorrow YEA!! All I have to say is it's about time!
Meghan Crouse-
It seems as though the season has taken forever to come and it is finally here. The season started months ago -- with the fall season, individual workouts, lifting and condition, and learning mental toughness the entire time. We have prepared for the season for such a long time and I am excited to get on the field. Although I feel anxious, I feel a little nervous in the pit of my stomach due to the fact that I want to play well and prove that I deserve to play. We have worked so hard and I hope we go out there and set a good tone for the rest of the season as a unit.
Sharee Fonoti-
I have been looking forward to playing college ball for a long time and it's finally here. Our softball team began training both mentally and physically since late August. Tomorrow is our first game and we are all very anxious to get out there and play. As a freshman on my first college road trip and my first spring season game, I am a little nervous. This game is sort of like a test for me to prove or show what I am capable of doing. We will play to the best of our ability and we will not let anyone get to us, if we believe that we can do it, we will!

Wow...it is finally here! The day we have all been working so hard for has finally come. Tonight is kind of different for me, being a red-shirt, than it is for everyone else on the team. I will be going to sleep with butterflies in my stomach, not for myself, but for all of my teammates! Even though I know I won't be playing, I am still nervous for the first game of the spring season. I know how hard we have all worked and I am excited to be able to see how everybody's hard work has paid off. I am going into this season looking to learn everything I possibly can and I will always be there to support my team. Well...that's about it y'all... GO UTES!!!
