? Utah has never faced UNC-Wilmington.
? UNC-Wilmington is a member of the Colonial Athletic Association. The 10-team CAA is also made up of Delaware, Drexel, George Mason, Hofstra, James Madison, Old Dominion, Towson, Virginia Commonwealth, and William and Mary.
? This weekend's trip to Wilmington, N.C. will be the easternmost trip of the season for Utah. It is the furtheast east the Utes have been in nearly 10 years.
? The Utes head back to the west coast next weekend for their MWC opener against San Diego State.

Scouting UNC-Wilmington UNC-Wilmington is 7-9 as of Wednesday afternoon. The Seahawks are hosting North Carolina State Wednesday afternoon, before hosting Utah for this weekend's three-game set.
UNC-Wilmington won its last outing, a 4-3 victory over Indiana State. But the Seahawks have lost five of their last seven. They have scored an average of just 3.0 runs per game in those seven games.
UNC-Wilmington opened the season with three straight victories, but has a mark of just 4-9 since then.
The Seahawks were 40-23 last season and won their first-ever CAA Tournament Championship. By virtue of winning the conference tournament, UNC-W took part in the NCAA Tournament. The Seahawks were 2-2 in the Kinston, N.C. regional, eventually bowing out with a loss to East Carolina.
This season, UNC-Wilmington is being led by Matt Poulk, who is batting .358 with three home runs. The Seahawks' top hurler is Ronald Hill with a 2.37 ERA.
Utah Rewind Utah swept a doubleheader from Albertson College Tuesday afternoon at Ute Field. The Utes took game one by a tally of 17-4, before capping the twinbill sweep with a 9-3 win in game two.
In Tuesday's first contest, the Utes pounded out 16 hits and three home runs, en route to the 13-run victory. Senior Clayne Garrett hit two home runs in four at-bats against the Coyotes.
In game two, Albertson held a 3-2 advantage after three innings. But the Utes scored seven unanswered runs over the final four innings to pull away for the six-run victory. Jay Brossman and Joe Mozeleski each hit their first home runs of the season in that second contest. Matt Crockett picked up his first win.
Increasing the Power Utah went through its first nine games without hitting a home run. In its last five games, the Utes have powered up and hammered nine round-trippers.
Senior Clayne Garrett leads the power surge with three bombs, including a pair of homers in Tuesday's first game against Albertson College. Sophomore outfielder John Welsh is the only other Ute with multiple home runs. He has two so far this season.
Through 14 games, 27 percent (42-of-154) the Utes' hits have gone for extra bases - 31 doubles, two triples and nine HRs.
