SALT LAKE CITY -- The University of Utah's baseball matchup with Utah Valley State College Tuesday at Ute Field was rained out. No decision has been made in regard to making up the contest.
The game was tied 2-2 with two outs in the top of the second inning when umpires suspended play. UVSC had scored once in the top of the first and once in the second. The Utes got a two-run home run from Ryan Khoury in the bottom of the first to account for their scoring.
Utah, 12-22 overall and 5-10 in Mountain West Conference action, is slated to host a three-game series with BYU beginning Thursday evening at Franklin Covey Field.
