SALT LAKE CITY - The University of Utah men's tennis team had a struggle today playing Boise State at the Eccles Tennis Center. The doubles teams had a great start to the competition, but during the singles matches Utah struggled. Zach Ganger and Nick Coutts posted an 8-6 victory at the No. 1 doubles position, while at the No. 2 position, Jason Yap and Tomasz Grzyb posted an 8-2 victory.
Quote from Assistant Coach Graeme Cox:
"Tonight's match was close against a very good Boise State team. The match could have gone either way but things just did not quite bounce our way. Winning the doubles point was good again and Nick and Zach had a win over a highly ranked team. Dan put his hard cap on again in singles and pulled out another three setter."
