ST. GEORGE, Utah - A snowstorm that blanketed Utah suspended the University of Utah's baseball series with Southern Utah this afternoon. No make-up date has been set.

SUU was set to bat in the bottom of the fourth inning trailing 4-0 when the umpires cleared the field.

The two teams played to a draw through the first two games of the series Thursday, with the Utes claiming an 11-5 win in the opener, while SUU pulled even with a thrilling 12-10 extra-inning win in the game two.

Utah returns to action on March 14th with a single game against Brigham Young in Provo. First pitch is set for 7 p.m.
