SALT LAKE CITY - Inclement weather has struck again as the University of Utah's softball game with Utah State this afternoon has been cancelled due to persistent rain.
It is only the fourth game that the Utes have lost to weather this year. Utah has one more date set with Utah State this season. The two in-state rivals are slated to meet on April 12 here at Ute Field.
The Utes bring an 18-10 overall mark into a pair of league doubleheaders on Friday and Saturday. The Utes host UNLV on Friday at 1 p.m. and San Diego State on Saturday at noon.
