SALT LAKE CITY - The University of Utah baseball program will host two three-day camps over the holiday break, giving boys and girls the opportunity to hone their skills in either fundamental or specialty camps.
A registration form will be available soon under the camps tab on the Utah baseball page. If there are any questions, campers should contact the baseball camp office at 801-581-3024.
The camps, set for Dec. 27-29, will include a fundamental camp for all players aged 7-12. It is set for Thursday and Friday from 9-11:30 a.m., and Saturday from 9-11 a.m. The cost is $100, but there is a 10 percent discount per player for teams of 10 or more.
The specialty camps are for boys aged 13-18, and they will focus on pitching, catching, infielding and hitting. They will run from noon-2 p.m., and 2-4 p.m. on Thursday and Friday, and from 11 a.m.-1 p.m., and 1-3 p.m. on Saturday. The cost for the specialty camp is $100 per session. However, two sessions will only cost $190.
